What services do you offer?
My main focus at the moment is what I'd call portrait sessions, which covers Family Sessions, Newborn Sessions, Maternity Sessions, Engagement Sessions and Milestone shoots (ie First Birthdays, Proposals, Baptisms etc).
I also shoot a limited number of weddings a year, as well as branding photography and headshots.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based slightly north of Melbourne, Australia, and yes I love to travel! It comes with the territory where we live, but it's why we chose this area.
I have had the pleasure of shooting wedding and portrait sessions all over Victoria, and Australia, and the UK as well, so don't let distance be a barrier if you'd love for us to work together. Get in touch and let's make it happen!
Where will my portrait session take place?
There are a number of options available, depending what kind of session you're after.
For newborn sessions my first suggestion is always at your home, where everyone is comfortable in their own environment, and the sometimes stress of travelling in those early days is minimised. I do however have a small natural light studio that can be used if preferred.
Family Sessions can be taken at home, or at a location of your choosing. I can suggest a number of local settings if you're stuck for ideas, or we can choose somewhere that has meaning to your family or where you're bound to be relaxed and have loads of fun hanging out together.
The studio, and surrounds, is available for small families - ie mum and dad, along with maximum of two young children. We do have a beautiful, naturally forested space for our yard (which is often magical during 'golden hour') so you're welcome to make use of that too if you like.
Can we include our pets in the photos?
Absolutely. As long as they have legs, and don't crawl on their bellies.
How do I book a session?

When should I book in a newborn session?
Feel free to contact me at any stage throughout your pregnancy. Obviously the earlier you're booked in the better the chance of availability.
Initially we work around your due date, and then it's simply a matter of reaching out once bub has arrived to finalise the actual photo session.
We can do it as soon after birth as you're ready to - or take a couple of weeks to acclimatise if needed.
How does payment work?
There is a $100 deposit required to secure your booking for portrait sessions and a $500 retainer for weddings. These payments are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date.
The balance for all bookings is due a week before the day of the shoot.
Payment plans are available if needed.
How long before we receive our photos?s?
Your will receive a 'sneak peek' of a few images the day after your session, followed by the link to an online gallery with all your photos within 1-2 weeks. You can download all the photos from the gallery and also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
Likewise with weddings, though the turnaround is roughly 4 weeks.
How many pictures will we receive?
On average you will be provided with roughly 60-80 images per hour of shooting. So you should expect 60+ images for a portrait session and 300+ for a four hour wedding.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Sickness, bad weather and unavoidable situations occasionally happen, in which case your booking can be transferred to a new date - so long as reasonable notice is given.
If you wish to cancel without rescheduling your deposit will be forfeited.
